Installation & Setup Guide
System Requirements
- Compatible Browsers: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge.
- Version: Ensure your browser is updated to the latest version.
- Add-ons: Ensure extension/add-on usage is enabled in browser settings.
- Network: A stable internet connection is required during installation.
Admin Configuration
- Log in to your environment (Google Sheets, LMS, or School Management System).
- Navigate to the Add-ons/Extensions section and confirm 21st Century Teacher's Markbook is enabled.
- Go to your Markbook Dashboard.
- for Mobile or Desktop users, + tab on the sheet can be used to add a new sheet to record for a particular learner.
- The Subjects you entered in the sheet 1(A7:A15) will be updated to Other sheets. .This reduces stress of entering subjects to individual sheets.
- Click the optional (reset ) button to reset your sheet if you have messed up your sheet .
- ClickRun Score Button to view results summary on sheet2 sheet3 and sheet4 .
- Click the "Next term" button to start a fresh for next term and your brought forward (B/F) for the learner will be updated. Please ensure that you export your data before clicking “Next term” .
- For Desktop users only, Click the menu bar at the right of your sheet to insert a new sheet and run your scores .

Go to Extensions > Add-ons > Get add-ons.
Search for "21st Century Teacher's Markbook".
Click Install and grant the necessary permissions.

How do I add a new student to the Markbook?
Go to your Markbook Dashboard, select cell B2 on the active sheet, and input the student's name details.
How do I update a student's grade?
Simply change or enter the new data point into the score matrix. The system computations and overall grades will update dynamically . Then, click the analyse score button to view the results summary on sheet2 , sheet3 and sheet4.
Can I export student data to a CSV file?
Yes. Access the Markbook Dashboard interface, select the "3 dot on the right" choose share/export CSV formatting standard, and trigger the localized file download.
How do I view a student's performance report?
Navigate to the specific student profile sheets to view individual metrics, position ranks, and percentage curves. For system-wide diagnostics, view the initial dashboard sheet for macro-level subject metric analytics.
